It's Never too Late to Get Started

Balance issues can come from many sources, including old habits or injuries. They can also be the result of strokes, bedrest/hospitalization, or anything else that alters what the body considers to be normal movement. It can start with childhood diseases, or can come on as an adult without apparent cause. Have you ever said: “Well, my balance has gotten worse as I have gotten older”? Balance does not just disappear on its own. Lack of needing to balance is a primary cause, not age. Taking a fall can also lead to loss of balance, which then can lead to additional falls.
