Neck, Back & Shoulder Therapy
Lifetime Symptoms can Often be Resolved
Chronic or acute pain in the neck, shoulders or back are addressed by a multitude of treatments to include manual therapy, trigger point dry needling and active re-education of the stabilizing muscles. Even pain that has been present for most of someone’s life can still be addressed, and, oftentimes, brought to full resolution of the symptoms. The length of time pain has been present is not generally a good indicator of whether or not it can be treated successfully. Pain and dysfunction in these particular areas of the body can lead to chronic headaches, sinus infections, difficulty swallowing, loss of mobility and then a general loss of function. Even after surgery in the spine, it is imperative to return to PT for help in re-educating the muscles in normal function and return to normal activities without restrictions.
